The piece depicts a girl living in her bedroom but her mind travels elsewhere. As long as she has her imagination, she can be anywhere.

This was a brief animation sequence I made for anIMus, a short film by a group of film students in Germany.
The scenes portray a love story set in a lucid dream of futuristic Vietnam with elements of cyberpunk. The protagonist is a young man who has been looking for love his whole life only to have found her in the most unexpected place, the maze of his own mind.

HELLO!
My name is Larissa and I'm an artist based in Europe.
I dove into the artistic world at a young age and by 15 years old I was fortunate enough to be accepted into Hanoi College of Art. This was life changing for me and my appreciation for the arts. A year after graduating, I found my way to Italy and followed the Multimedia Arts course at IUAV University of Venice.
I have attended many courses and worked with different traditional painting materials. Nevertheless fine art is my playground, not my passion and after experimenting in many different fields, I have found my enthusiasm for animation and game design.
My work has a strong element of fantasy and imaginative world. In the future I would like to transform my ideas into interactive experiences with the audience.
I'm finishing university as well as working on a story-driven indie game on the side and so at the moment, I'm interested in picking up on adventures of small projects and working with new people.
